The publishable key begins sb_publishable_ on a new project, or eyJ on an older one. The secret key is a different value and must never be entered here. Running the schema script once in the Supabase SQL editor comes first, because the tables have to exist before the first sign-in.

The first person to sign in becomes the administrator and sets the role for everyone who follows. Anyone who signs in later starts with read only access until an administrator raises it.

Creating an organization makes this account its administrator. Colleagues join by invitation, which an administrator sends from the Settings page.
